Army Commander General Shavendra Silva said that President Gotabaya Rajapaksa has instructed authorities to give priority to those 60 years & over, pregnant mothers & Government employees during vaccinations against Covid-19 in above mentioned districts.
Meanwhile Advisory Committee on Communicable Diseases has decided to grant approval for high risk pregnant mothers to be vaccinated with Chinese Sinopharm vaccines against Covid-19, Dr. Chitramalee de Silva, Family Health Bureau, Ministry of Health told Ada Derana.
