The Para Medical Services Front of Sri Lanka has objected to a disciplinary inquiry being conducted against Dr. Chamal Sanjeewa, Deputy Director at Health Ministry.
The disciplinary inquiry is being launched over Dr. Sanjeewa’s views that were shared during a talk show on YouTube recently.
The Health Ministry Secretary’s office has reportedly informed Dr. Sanjeewa that they wish to meet him to record a statement in this regard.
Following the show, a circular was issued by the Health Ministry prohibiting health experts from speaking to the media. (NewsWire)
