Two suspects have been arrested for obtaining advance payments totalling Rs. 11 million promising to sell branded mobile phones and iPads online.
The Police said the suspects had obtained the payments via online from nearly 70 people.
The duo had operated an office on Galle Road in Colpetty promising delivery of products by 15- days.
However, as the products had not been delivered, 70 customers had filed a complaint with the Colpetty Police.
