An elderly man is reported to have died after being manhandled by two men at a fuel station in Moratuwa.
CCTV footage shows the elderly man getting out of a three-wheeler which was pumping fuel at the fuel station. The three-wheeler then attempts to drive off while the man holds on to it, resulting in the man falling onto the ground.
Another individual who had also gotten out of the vehicle is later seen dragging the injured man to the entrance of the fuel station, where he abandons the man and leaves. It was later reported that the elderly man had died a few minutes after being abandoned at the entrance of the fuel station.
The Moratuwa Police has commenced investigations into the suspicious death of the elderly man. (NewsWire)
