Over thirty people have been detected with COVID-19 following random PCR tests conducted in several areas under the Piliyandala Medical Officer of Health (MOH) Division.
The Public Health Inspectors Association said a total of 31 infected people were detected after nearly 130 random PCR tests were conducted.
The infected persons have been identified from the Bokundara, Gorakapitiya, Rathmaldeniya and Arewwela areas.
Close associates of the infected individuals have been placed in isolation at their own residences. (NewsWire)
