The last leg of Sri Lanka’s tour of West Indies in the form of the first Test will commence at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium in Antigua from today.
The last time West Indies and Sri Lanka had locked horns in Test cricket was more than 30 months ago during Sri Lanka’s tour of West Indies in Barbados. In a total of 20 Tests against each other, West Indies have won just four as compared to nine Sri Lankan victories.
22 year old batsman Pathum Nissanka is set to make his Test debut today while Dhananjaya de Silva will also return to the Sri Lanka side.
