Former Pakistan cricketer Shahid Afridi has confirmed that pacer Shaheen Afridi’s family has approached to get the cricketer married to his daughter Aqsa.
Earlier, the rumours were doing the rounds of the same and both the families had opened up about it. But Afridi, in his latest tweet, has confirmed that and believes that if it is in destiny, Shaheen and his daughter will get married.
However, Pakistan’s local media had reported that Shaheen Afridi’s father Ayaz Khan revealed of sending the proposal to Shahid Afridi’s family and it was accepted as well.
The report further added that the left-arm pacer’s career has just taken off while Afridi’s eldest daughter Aqsa is still studying and things could materialise in two years’ time.But Shahid Afridi’s tweet on Saturday clears that nothing is still confirmed, however, the cricketer hasn’t denied either stating that ‘the matches are made in heaven.’ He also wished success for Shaheen Afridi on and off the field.“Shaheen’s family approached my family for my daughter.
