Borella resident in trouble for livestreaming movements of Imran Khan’s vehicle convoy

An individual has been arrested on charges of recording the movements of the vehicle convoy of Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan, who was on a State visit to Sri Lanka.

The suspect was arrested in Borella yesterday.
He is reported to have recorded the footage for a Facebook livestream.

The suspect has been identified as a resident of Colombo and a mechanical worker in the private sector.

The Police have reportedly detained him under the charges of posing a threat to the security of a visiting dignitary to the country.

He has been later released on police bail.
