A 24-year-old woman who had allegedly attended extremism training classes conducted by Easter Sunday Suicide bomber Zaharan Hasheem has been arrested.
Police said the suspect was arrested from Mawanella yesterday by Terrorism Investigation Division.
Last December Police arrested 6 women who had participated in the same extremists training classes conducted by the Easter Sunday bomber.
Several family members of the woman who was arrested yesterday are already in Police custody over Easter attack and over Mawanella Budda statues destruction incident in 2019. (NewsWire)
