The owner of the Dambulla Viiking team in the Lanka Premier League 2020, Sachin Joshi has been arrested in India.
According to Indian media, Joshi who is a businessman and an actor has been arrested on charges of money laundering.
A case has been filed against him over money laundering in connection to the Mumbai-based realty group Omkar Realtors and Developers.
Joshi is stated to be an actor and a promoter of the JMJ business group.
He was arrested after Enforcement Directorate (ED) in India found questionable monetary transactions between the JMJ group and Omkar Realty.
Joshi was produced in the special Prevention of Money Laundering Court (PMLA) in Mumbai on February 15.
He has acted in movies like Mumbai Mirror and Sunny Leone-starrer Jackpot. (NewsWire)
