Opposition Leader MP Sajith Premadasa has vowed to provide necessary help to receive justice for a woman who had lost an arm in an accident while being transported to a quarantine centre in Jaffna.
During a meeting with the public, the woman informed MP Premadasa that she had arrived from Oman and had met in an accident in Palali while being transported to a quarantine centre in Jaffna in November 2020.
She said after regaining consciousness she was informed that her right hand had been amputated, while her left hand was fractured.
Despite it being three months since the accident, the woman claimed she has not received any compensation and neither have any Government officials inquired in this regard to date. (NewsWire)
