Sri Lanka’s ruling party Sri Lanka Podu Jana Peramuna today claimed that Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa did not assure that Covid victims will be allowed to be buried in Sri Lanka.
Speaking during today’s SLPP press conference, Government MP Kokila Gunawardena said that the Prime Minister only said that burial will be allowed and he did not say that Covid victims will be allowed to be buried.
She said that allowing Covid victims to be buried is a decision that has to be taken by health authorities in the country. (NewsWire)
