The Colombo Chief Magistrates Court has issued an order against Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa and several others from holding a protest march in a manner that inconveniences the public and obstucts traffic in the Maligawatta police division.
MP Premadasa’s Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) party said that the protest will begin at 1:30 pm from Hyde Park and Panchikawatta in Colombo.
SJB General Secretary Ranjith Madduma Bandara said that over 60,000 people are expected to take part in the protest.
