Over 4,000 cases filed nearly 25 years ago still heard in Sri Lanka courts

Responding to a question raised in Parliament by opposition MP Hesha Vithanage, Justice minister Ali Sabry stated that there are 4620 unresolved cases in SL courts which are being heard for more than 20 years.

Justice Minister told the Parliament that 231,506 cases are either yet to hear or currently being heard at District Courts around the country.
