Accountant and Gem & Jewellery industry professional Amitha Gamage has resigned as the Chairman of the National Gem & Jewellery Authority, Newsfirst reported.
Amitha Gamage was appointed as the chairman of National Gem & Jewellery Authority in December 2019 by President Gotabaya Rajapaksa.
Reason for his resignation is not known yet. Last week Board of Investment chairman Susantha Ratnayake and Export Development Board chairman Prabash Subasinghe resigned from their positions for personal reasons. (NewsWire)
