Slain journalist Lasantha Wickrematunge’s daughter Ahimsa Wickrematunge and several other victims of crimes have sent an urgent appeal to the Commissioner General of Prisons, Director General of Health Services, Inspector General of Police, and Consultant in Infectious Diseases at the Infectious Diseases Hospital, seeking urgent medical care for former CID Director Shani Abeysekara.
