Six political parties, including Minister Udaya Gammanpila’s Pivithuru Hela Urumaya, were registered as accepted political parties in Sri Lanka for 2020 by the National Election Commission.
The parties were approved from among 154 applications received after a public announcement was made calling for applications for the recognition of political parties in January 2020. (NewsWire)
