Three individuals have been detected with COVID-19 in Mathugama, Public Health Inspector (PHI) and Admin of the Ministry of Health office in the area G.D. Lionel said.
The patients have been identified as the driver, conductor and owner of a luxury bus operated on the Mathugama- Colombo Expressway.
The driver and conductor of the bus are residents of Navulthuduwa and Badugama areas in Mathugama respectively.
PHI Lionel further said that the owner of the bus is a resident of Ovitigala area in Mathugama.
The three individuals had been detected as patients after they undertook PCR tests at the Nagoda hospital in Kalutara on their own yesterday (12). (NewsWire)
