Samagi Jana Balawegaya Leader Sajith Premadasa today informed Speaker of the House Mahinda Yapa Abeywardena that the latter had violated the Constitution in allowing murder convict Premalala Jayasekara to be sworn-in as a member of Parliament.
MP Sajith Premadasa, citing former Parliament proceedings, said that the Speaker had violated articles 89 and 91 of the Constitution. (NewsWire)
