7 people have been killed in 2 road accidents today in Alawwa & Ella the Police said.
The Police said that a vehicle had crashed into a tipper-truck along the Colombo-Kurunegala road in the Alawwa Police division killing 5 people.
Meanwhile Two persons reported dead, 4 others injured after a vehicle went off the road and fell down a precipice near Ravana Ella on Ella-Wellawaya road.
