Election Commission has informed ‘Ape Jana Bala Pakshaya’ that no name will be gazetted as it’s National List MP, until studying legal basis of the Party Secretary.
General Secretary of the Party Venerable Wimalatissa Thero, who is in charge of informing the National Election Commission on the party’s decision, is reported to have gone missing.

According to reports, General Secretary of the Party General Secretary of the Party is said to have nominated his name via the National List prior to his disappearance.
Party chairman Saman Perera says they have now sacked the general secretary and appointed a new secretary. New secretary has nominated Saman Perera as the national list nominee.
