An Independent group which has filed nominations to contest the upcoming general election in the Colombo district, has sumbitted the names of 22 candidates with the surname Gammanpila.
Independent Group 16 which has filed nominations to contest the upcoming general election in Colombo has its candidates’ name list filled with 22 candidates, who have the surname “Gammanpila” in some part of their name. The candidates’ lists are available on the official website of the election commission for the perusal of the general public.
It’s still unclear whether this is a group of people who are hailing from the same family or some cult announcing their arrival to the fore. Only time and they themselves have answers.
