A 25-year old Sri Lankan Cricketer has been arrested by the Pannala Police for possessing illegal drugs.
Arrested Cricketer has played few games for Sri Lanka in 2018.
Pannala Police confirmed to NewsWire that a Cricketer was arrested and he has been remanded for 14 days by court.
“It’s very unfortunate that young people get addicted these drugs, it’s not the end of the world, we need to get them rehabilitated” Senior Police officer said commenting about the arrest
