Sri Lanka’s biggest Cricket stadium project suspended – PMs Office
“It was a very good discussion, We Cricketers informed that we need to focus on developing school and other cricket infrastructure at the moment. It’s not the time to build massive stadiums” Former captain Sanath Jayasuriya told NewsWire after the meeting.
Very productive meeting with P.M. HE Mahinda Rajapaksa and past Cricketing greats. It was decided to consider our new challengers after Covid19 experience before investing for new infrastructure projects. Must make every effort to take June Indian Tour of Sri Lanka a reality.
