The Criminal Investigation Department suspects that the first Agriculture Science question paper from this year’s A-levels was also leaked, according to Mawbima newspaper.

The suspicion stems from a complaint made by the Examination Commissioner regarding the release of the second paper.

Police Media Spokesman Nihal Talduwa confirmed that the CID has so far arrested two individuals in connection with the leak of the second paper of Agriculture Science

One of the arrested individuals is a 52-year-old resident of Rajawewa, Ampara, a well-known tuition teacher in the area. A special team from the Colombo CID made the arrest after finding the second A-level Agriculture Science question paper, written in the teacher’s handwriting, at his home. They also discovered 16 multiple choice questions from the paper on his mobile phone. It is believed that he shared these leaked questions with his students through WhatsApp.
