Electricity board has already given a grace period for electricity bill payments until 30th April and has ensured to public that electricity supply to consumers will not be disconnected during this time.
Today in a social media post it assured the public that Electricity bill will not increase due to Electricity Meter readings are not taken by the Electricity board in March as scheduled.
Due to the Covid19 crisis Electricity Meter readers are currently not visiting households.
“Rate will not increase, even if meter reading taken after 2 months” The FB post said.
