Chartered SriLankan Airlines flight was used to take home a group of Bangladeshis from Sri Lanka and then a group of Australians from Bangladesh.
The Bangladeshis were flown home from Colombo while the Australians were flown home from Dhaka, Bangladesh Media reported.
The Australian High Commission in Bangladesh a press statement said it helped 290 Australian citizens, permanent residents and their immediate families find a way to return home to Australia on a non-scheduled Sri Lankan Airlines flight that departed the Bangladesh international airport.
