The 2020 edition of Pakistan Super League (PSL) T20 series was underway from the 20th of February was called off due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Several international players withdrew from the tournament halfway due to the health emergency and returned home. Former Sri Lankan ace cricketer and acclaimed match referee Roshan Mahanama was also officiating in the series and had returned to Sri Lanka as soon as the series was called off.
Taking to his official Facebook page, he had posted an update stating “As soon as the PSL was called off, I left Lahore on the UL flight & I arrived safely in Colombo a little while ago. I will isolate myself and self quarantine at home for the next few days. Please stay indoors and take all the precautionary measures. Stay safe!!!”.
