In the month of December 2023, Sri Lanka has recorded an inflow of USD 569.7 Mn through foreign workers’ remittances.
Accordingly, the Central Bank of Sri Lanka (CBSL) has announced that a total of USD 5,969.6 Mn has been recorded as the cumulative figure of foreign workers’ remittances for the year 2023.
The CBSL has further said that this is a 57.5% increase in remittances compared to 2022. (NewsWire)
