The Sri Lanka Navy has seized 300 kilos of narcotics, including ICE and heroin, from a fishing trawler during a raid conducted on the high seas south of Sri Lanka.
The Navy Spokesman said six suspects were arrested during the operation, while a local fishing trawler was also taken into custody.
The arrests were made during a coordinated operation by the Sri Lanka Navy and the Police Narcotic Bureau.
The Navy Spokesman said the seized narcotics in 278 parcels and the fishing trawler along with the suspects were brought to the Galle Harbour this morning (Jan 05).
