SMARTWINGS commenced direct charter flights to Colombo, with weekly flights connecting Hungary.
Launching SMARTWINGS direct charter flights to Sri Lanka, the first charter flight arrived at BIA today with 183 passengers. The flight was welcomed by a celebratory water cannon salute upon arrival at BIA, organized by Airport and Aviation Services (Sri Lanka) Limited, and the passengers were warmly welcomed by a traditional Kandyan dance performance organized by Jetwing Travels.
The charter operations from Budapest to Colombo will be operated every Wednesday from 27th December to 3rd April 2024.
