Two teenage girls who disappeared from their homes in Mawathagama and Galagedara police divisions on October 1st were found safe and sound at Uyanwatte, Matara, this morning.
The girls aged 18 & 19, were discovered by Matara police as they were leaving their temporary residence in a boarding house to head to a nearby shop where they were employed.
The circumstances surrounding their disappearance for nearly three months remain unclear, and the police are currently investigating the situation.
