The Central Bank of Sri Lanka (CBSL) has issued a notice outlining the recent development and details concerning Sri Lanka’s Deposit Insurance Scheme.
The CBSL said that it has been managing and operating a Deposit Insurance Scheme since 2010.
The scheme was legally instituted as the Sri Lanka Deposit Insurance Scheme under the Banking (Special Provisions) Act, no. 17 of 2023, it added.
