A 29-year-old Philippine national was apprehended in Narahenpita with 2.29kg of cocaine, while a 49-year-old suspect, who reportedly intended to acquire the drugs from the Philippine national, was also arrested.
The second individual was found in possession of Rs. 700,000 in cash and a vehicle.
