Sri Lanka Migrant workers’ foreign remittances for month of April 2023 was recorded as US$ 454 million, Minister of Labour and Foreign employment Manusha Nanayakkara announced.
The Minister further said that it’s a 83.4% increase compared to April 2022, where the remittances figures were recorded as US$ 248.9 million.
Taking to Twitter, the Minister also said that total remittance for this year, up to April, is US$ 1867.2 million. (NewsWire)
