A tense situation was reported between the Sri Lanka Police and employees of Sri Lanka Telecom (SLT) who engaged in a one-day strike today to protest the government’s decision on the sale of shares of the SLT.
The strike action was launched with the participation of 18 trade unions of the SLT.
