Sri Lanka’s Education Ministry has announced the details of December & April holidays for all government schools in the country.
- All schools will be closed on 23, 24, 25, 26 December for Christmas Holidays.
- A/L exam holidays from 03rd February 2022 to 3rd March 2022 (Not for primary sections)
- April holidays : April 09th to 17th 2022 (Sinhala/Tamil schools)
- April holidays : April 01st to May 03rd (Muslim schools)
Education Ministry has also confirmed the exams dates for A/L, O/L & Grade 5 scholarship.
- Grade 5 : 2022 January 22
- GCE A/L : 2022 February 07 to March 05
- GCE O/L : 2022 May 23 to June 1st
