Sri Lankan swimmer Aniqah Gaffoor failed to qualify for the semifinals of women’s 100m butterfly event at Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.
Aniqah managed to finish second place in heat 1 of the event with a timing of 1:05:33 which took place earlier today. However, her timing was not enough for her to qualify for the semifinals as only top 16 swimmers will be qualified for the semis.
Aniqah’s timing was ranked 32 out of the 33 completed in the heats.
