Another medal for Sri Lanka at Paralympics 2020: Bronze for Dulan Kodithuwakku

Sri Lanka’s Dulan Kodithuwakku has won the bronze medal in the Men’s Javelin event at the ongoing Paralympic Games 2020 underway in Tokyo, Japan.

Dulan Kodithuwakku recorded a throw of 65.61m during the event which was held today.

The result is Kodithuwakku’s personal best Javelin throw at the Games to date.

Earlier today, Paralympian Dinesh Priyantha Herath won the gold medal for the Men’s Javelin event.

Dinesh Priyantha Herath also set a world record, with a record throw of 67.79m.

This is the first instance in which Sri Lanka has won a gold medal in an Olympics-related event. (NewsWire)
