A 31-year-old man has been killed and another person has been injured in a shooting reported in Hanwella today (Mar 04).
According to the Police, the suspects were fired at while travelling in a vehicle in the Niripola area in Hanwella.
The two victims had been admitted to the Avissawella Hospital following the shooting, where one had succumbed to injuries and the other is receiving treatment.
The deceased has been identified as a 31-year-old resident of Niripola and the brother of organized criminal ‘Manna Roshan’.
The suspects who had carried out the shooting have fled the area, while the Hanwella Police have launched an investigation to apprehend them. (NewsWire)
