An Army officer is reported to have died after falling off a two-storey building on School Lane in Nivandhidiya, Piliyandala yesterday.
The officer who is attached to the Intelligence Unit of the military had fallen off the building, which is said to be a boarding house.
The deceased is a resident of the Marupana area in Alawathugoda.
The officer had fallen off the building while cleaning the boarding house with a group of other military officers.
He had died after being admitted to the Kothalawala Defence University Hospital with serious injuries.
The Piliyandala Police is conducting further investigations into the incident. (NewsWire)
