Sri Lanka batsman Avishka Fernando will not take part in the Test Series against England due to fitness issues.
Fernando has reportedly been dropped from the Sri Lanka squad and sent home from the hotel due to fitness concerns.
Earlier, he was added to the Test squad along with Angelo Mathews, Nuwan Pradeep, Roshen Silva, Lakshan Sandakan and Ramesh Mendis as replacements for injured players.
Sri Lanka Test squad arrived from South Africa yesterday and are now in a hotel in Galle undergoing qurantine.
