Minister of Trade Bandula Gunawardhana today expressed his displeasure in Parliament over a cartoon published in a government newspaper criticizing him.
He alleged that these newspapers operating with public money are following orders of some “Almighty” state officials who are acting in a manner challenging the powers of The President, Prime Minister and the Parliament.
He also requested the Speaker to summon the newspaper before the Parliament privileges committe to question them over their reporting. (NewsWire)
