Body of a 10-year-old girl who had been reported missing has been recovered from an unprotected well in Athurupalayagama area in Nawagaththegama.
On the 21st May, the child has gone missing while staying at her own house with her mother. Her parents along with the neighbors have tried to look for the missing child and later lodged a complained to the Nawagaththegama Police station as they could not find her.
Later the Nawagaththegama police have launched a search operation with the help of neighbors and recovered the body of the child inside an unprotected well located within the garden of the same premises. (NewsWire)
