The bus priority lane pilot project will be implemented in Colombo for 14 days starting from tomorrow (Nov 01).
The Police stated that the bus priority lane scheme will be implemented from Savoy Cinema in Wellawatte, along Galle Road, up to Colombo Fort from 06.00 am to 09.00 am.
It will also be implemented on Maradana Road, Borella Junction to Pettah, and Olcott Mawatha under two slots from 06.00 am to 09.00 am and from 04.00 pm to 07.00 pm.
The Police stated all Sri Lanka Transport Buses (SLTB), private buses, and vans and buses used for school and office transport services will be permitted to use the bus lane. (NewsWire)
