Prominent businessman Ashroff Omar has stepped down from the Board of Directors of SriLankan Airlines.
According to the Daily FT, Ashroff Omar has stepped down due to personal reasons and commitments.
He was among top business leaders appointed to steer SriLankan Airlines to sustainable growth amidst various external challenges.
Following Ashroff Omar’s resignation, the Board of the National Carrier now consists of six members.
The remaining Board members are Asoka Pathirage (Chairman), Malik Fernando, Samantha Ratwatte PC, Manohara De Silva PC, Dr. Hans Wijayasuriya and Sanjaya Mohottala. (NewsWire)
