A minor reshuffle of the Cabinet of Ministers took place today on the directive of President Gotabaya Rajapaksa.
This is the first Cabinet reshuffle to take place, since the appointing of Ministers a year ago, under the incumbent Government.
Following are the new portfolios of the Ministers:
Dinesh Gunawardena – Minister of Education
Professor G. L. Peiris – Minister of Foreign Affairs
Pavithra Wanniarachchi- Minister of Transport
Keheliya Rambukwella – Minister of Health
Gamini Lokuge- Minister of Power
Dullas Alahapperum- Minister of Mass Media
Minister Namal Rajapaksa – Minister of Sports, Youth Affairs, and Development Coordination and Supervision. (NewsWire)
