An attempt to have a conversation in the middle of the road by two lorry drivers has resulted in an accident on the Kinniya- Kandy main road.
Video footage captured by a nearby CCTV camera shows the lorry drivers travelling in opposite directions stopping in the middle of the road for a chat.
However, another lorry travelling on the left side of the road had crashed into both lorries that were idling in the middle of the road, blocking traffic.
It has become common practice in Sri Lanka for lorry drivers who know one another to disregard road rules and stop in the middle of the road for a chat. (NewsWire)
