One person died and three others sustained serious injuries on the Marine Drive in Wellawatta this morning due to an accident.
Police Spokesman DIG Ajith Rohana said that a drunken driver returning from a night club in Colombo had caused the accident and fled the area.
“We arrested the car driver and another person traveling vehicle when they were fleeing from the scene” Police spokesman said.
