Visiting China’s Minister of Defence General Wei Fenghe met President Gotabaya Rajapaksa at the Presidential Secretariat this morning.
General Wei who is on a two-day visit to Sri Lanka was welcomed by President’s Secretary P.B. Jayasudenra and Foreign Secretary Admiral Jayanath Colombage.
China’s Minister of Defence said intense discussions were held with President Rajapaksa during his meeting.
He further said the discussion focused on strengthening bilateral ties and tourism between the two countries. (NewsWire)
